About the School

The School of Business at Osiri University trains entrepreneurs, executives, and changemakers to lead with both financial rigor and ethical purpose. Grounded in the African philosophy of Ubuntu — "I am because we are" — the school reframes business education around shared prosperity, sustainable strategy, and community impact rather than ownership and material gain alone. Students move through a Discovery, Journey, Empowerment, and Mastery pathway that builds from core management and entrepreneurship fundamentals to advanced strategy, finance, and venture creation.

The school's flagship graduate program, the MBA in Sustainable Leadership, prepares current and aspiring leaders to tackle organizational, social, environmental, and economic challenges through innovative and ethical business practices. Its Doctor of Philosophy in Business Innovation lets scholars pursue original, action-driven research while optionally earning a master's degree in their first year. Undergraduate offerings include the BS in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Business and the Associate of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, plus joint degrees with the Schools of Agriculture, Humanities, and Computing and Engineering.

Dr. Abdoulaye Mbengue

Dean of Osiri Business School and Executive Director of Xelkom Institute. A former principal trade adviser to USAID in Senegal, he later contributed to the African Union's first strategic plan and the NEPAD needs assessment.
