The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Innovation is designed for scholars who are excited to tackle business and societal challenges through research and critical inquiry. The PhD is an action-driven, multidisciplinary program open to students from diverse backgrounds who positively impact their organizations and communities through their scholarship. The degree requires a minimum of 30 courses (90 credits). Fourteen of the 30 courses are prescribed (8) and electives (6). The remaining 16 courses are seminar courses, which are courses students must enroll in while conducting their research and writing their dissertation. The minimum number of years to complete the PhD is three. If the program is not completed in three years, students must continue enrolling in 6 seminar credits every two months until their research and dissertation are finished.
