Applicants to the Master of Science in Food Systems and Sustainable Agriculture must hold a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and demonstrate proficiency in English. Consistent with Osiri University's applied and community-centered approach to learning, applicants are encouraged to bring either: (1) a real-world challenge they seek to address within a farm, organization, food system, or community; or (2) an innovative idea related to food security, sustainable agriculture, agribusiness, environmental stewardship, or rural development that they wish to develop into a viable solution or venture.

The program welcomes students from diverse academic, professional, and cultural backgrounds, including agriculture, natural sciences, business, engineering, education, public policy, community development, and related fields. We seek learners who are passionate about advancing sustainable food systems and creating positive social, economic, and environmental impact.

Osiri University may accept up to nine graduate transfer credits (approximately three graduate-level courses) from accredited institutions toward the master's degree. Additional transfer credit consideration may be granted on a case-by-case basis.
